Five dollars. That is the price of a domestic draft at participating Marcus Theatres locations in the Milwaukee area during the World Series. The chain announced the discount as part of a wider package designed to coincide with the Brewers' return to the postseason, ending a 44 year gap.
The offer is one component of a promotional strategy that includes food deals and special film screenings. On game days, customers can buy Game Time Lemonades for nine dollars, medium pizzas for ten dollars, and appetizers at half price. These incentives apply to specific venues, including Movie Tavern Brookfield and the Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield.
Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, framed the initiative as a communal event. He noted that the company has waited 44 years for this moment and wants to provide a space for fans to gather. He stated that the theatres aim to serve as venues where people can watch the games with friends or revisit local baseball history.
The chain is also screening two films that document the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers season. The titles are "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." These documentaries are scheduled for showings at ten different locations across Wisconsin.
The list of screening venues includes Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon and Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay. Other sites include Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield, Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton, and Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Waukesha. The screenings will also take place at Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema, Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek.
Customers can watch live games on large screens in the bars and lounges of several Marcus locations. Participating sites for live viewing include Marcus Renaissance, Marcus Menomonee Falls, Marcus North Shore Cinema, and Marcus BistroPlex. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema is also listed as a location for a sports bar experience.
A loyalty program incentive runs through October 31. Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program who see any movie by that date receive a voucher for one free Junior popcorn. The voucher is redeemable between November 4 and November 24. Non members can sign up for the program for free before their visit to qualify. Details on ticket prices, specific showtimes, and participating locations are available on the Marcus Theatres website and mobile app.
