Soundcore's Space 2 headphones reached their lowest price to date on October 23, listing at $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart. The reduction amounts to $23 off the regular price and applies to all three color options.
The discount lands on a model that carries a $30 higher list price than the Space One, which launched in 2023. The Space One appeared on The Verge's list of top budget noise-canceling headphones that year, and the Space 2 keeps that formula while improving on it. The current price cut offsets part of the higher list price.
Active noise cancellation is the main upgrade. The Space 2 suppress low-frequency sounds such as those from trains and airplane engines more effectively than the earlier model, and Soundcore made design changes that produce more accurate sound. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio and work with HearID 3.0, a tool that runs a listener through audio samples and adjusts the sound to the responses.
Battery life also rose. With noise cancellation on, the Space 2 run up to 50 hours, up from 40 on the Space One. With the feature off, the figure reaches 70 hours against 55 before. A 3.5mm jack allows wired use when the battery runs out, and playback pauses automatically when the headphones leave the head.
The Verge calls the Space 2 an easy recommendation, citing the stronger noise cancellation and improved sound over the original. At $106.49, the headphones cost less than they ever have, though the price sits $30 above the Space One's original cost.
